Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2020 /Kabar/. In order to ensure economic stability in conditions of emergency, the work of some business entities has been extended since Aug. 20, as well as the regime of public transport has been changed, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported Thursday.
Now the public passenger transport (buses, trolleybuses, minibuses) operates at weekends also and on public holidays. The operating mode has been preserved from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. with the condition of disinfection activities (from 11 p.m. to 2 p.m.).
Cafes and restaurants, as well as other catering outlets, are now open from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., meanwhile food delivery services are allowed to operate without time limitations in strict compliance with sanitary standards.
Shopping centers, houses, complexes, chain stores, supermarkets work as daily from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Temporary restrictions on visiting parks, squares, boulevards, squares are lifted, and the activity of bicycle rental points is also permitted.
Toikana (restaurant specializing in catering for family celebrations) and entertainment facilities (night clubs, bars, karaoke clubs, hookah clubs, cinemas, internet clubs, computer facilities, etc.); children's playgrounds and entertainment facilities are still prohibited.
The above measures are valid until a special order is issued, i.e. until the epidemiological situation in the city of Bishkek improves, and are mandatory for all, regardless of ownership.
