The business week in the country has demonstrated activity, although the potential has not been fully revealed. In particular, the tax services again delighted with their overfulfillment of the indicative fundraising plan. There is a noticeable revival in the provision of loans to agricultural producers, as well as in the acquisition of agricultural machinery on lease by farmers, and at the same time the specified requirements of the lenders-banks are being fulfilled. There are more and more participants from Kyrgyzstan at the exchange trading in Uzbekistan.
In general, the week was not full of business events, although companies and firms can operate at almost full capacity.
Tax plan. Kyrgyzstan collected KGS 7 billion 515.9 million of taxes and payments in August 2020.

According to data of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, the plan for August was fulfilled by 120.2%, or exceeded by KGS 1 billion 265 million. Compared to the same period in 2019, tax receipts increased by KGS 246.6 million.
In August, the republican budget was executed by 123%, the local budget - by 110.2%.
Such a significant overfulfillment of the planned indicators for taxes in August became possible due to a number of factors, the tax authority said.
In particular, intensive work was carried out to collect local taxes, including tax on transport, residential real estate and land tax, as well as to administer indirect taxes in the framework of trade with the EAEU member states.
Loans to farmers. By the second half of August 2020, under the Financing Agriculture-8 project in Kyrgyzstan, 9,342 loans were issued in all categories in the amount of KGS 4 billion 757 million 600 thousand.

According to data of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, 9 thousand 128 loans were issued in the amount of KGS 3 billion 540 million soms in the category of Farmer.
Of these, 1 thousand 247 loans were issued to plant breeders in the amount of KGS 415.2 million, and to livestock breeders 7 thousand 881 loans to the amount of KGS 3 thousand 124.3 million.
Leasing of agricultural equipment. Since 2011, agricultural producers in Kyrgyzstan received 3 thousand 159 units of various agricultural machinery for leasing for the amount of KGS 4 billion 686 million 900 thousand.

According to data of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, 221 units were leased to farmers in 2020 for a total amount of KGS 583.6 million.
For the implementation of leasing projects in the republic, Aiyl Bank OJSC was appointed as the operator, and the projects are being implemented under the control of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Conditions for leasing agricultural machinery:
- leasing term up to - 7-10 years;
- interest rate - depends on the initial payment of the lessee and ranges from 6% to 9%, while the initial contribution must be at least 10% of the value of the leased item;
Accreditation in Uzbekistan. It became known this week that 267 Kyrgyz companies are accredited at the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

This was announced during the online business meeting "Export / import of products through the commodity exchange" by Deputy Director for Foreign Economic Activity of the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange JSC Nikolai Davydenko.
According to him, more than 5,000 transactions totaling more than 23 million US dollars are made daily at the Uzbek Exchange, the client base reaches 230,000. More than 1,100 brokerage companies operate on the commodity exchange.
The participation of Kyrgyz companies on stock exchanges in Uzbekistan opens a corridor for the export of their goods.
Power consumption. Electricity consumption in the energy system of Kyrgyzstan in August 2020 amounted to about 850 million kWh.

The National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan OJSC said that according to the operational data of the central dispatching service of the OJSC, electricity consumption in August of this year was slightly less than a year earlier, when there was no pandemic. This year, in August, electricity consumption in the country amounted to 849 million 493 thousand kWh.
In 2019, for the same period, consumption amounted to 876 million 263 thousand kWh.
