Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2021 . / Kabar /. Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiyev met on Thursday with Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich.
Amangeldiev noted Kyrgyzstan's readiness for a constructive dialogue and commitment to the tasks and objectives of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the framework of the presidency of the Union’s bodies in the coming year, the press service of the Ministry of Economy said.
The sides stressed that the strategic directions of development of the Eurasian economic integration until 2025 contain the main and key measures and mechanisms necessary to achieve the goals and objectives set by the Treaty on the EAEU of May 29, 2014.
Amangeldiev and Myasnikovich debated increasing the rate of vaccination against coronavirus and the adoption by EAEU countries of comprehensive measures to combat the disease.
As part of the presidency of Kyrgyzstan in the bodies of the Union in 2022, the parties also stressed the need to hold a number of events in Kyrgyzstan, such as the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, meetings of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, as well as the Eurasian Economic Forum.
In conclusion, Minister Amangeldiev noted Kyrgyzstan will make all available efforts to implement the key areas of mutually beneficial and prospective development of the Union.
