Bishkek, May 3, 2021. / Kabar /. Chairman of the Management Board of Manas International airport OJSC Bakyt Sharsheev met with Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) Director for the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlan Akmatov.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation on financing the reconstruction of the runway and modernization of the infrastructure of the Manas International Airport. Development issues and further steps for the implementation of projects were also discussed.
EDB Director for the Kyrgyz Republic Akmatov noted that financing projects within the framework of regional programs that strengthen transport and logistics ties between the EDB member states is one of the bank's priorities.
The EDB will consider the possibility of participating in infrastructure development, including co-financing in cooperation with international financial organizations, infrastructure projects within the framework of regional programs that strengthen transport and logistics ties between the EDB member states.
