Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2023 / Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov met with a delegation of deputies of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany, members of the Germany-Central Asia parliamentary friendship group. During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries, including the cultural, humanitarian, scientific, technical and economic spheres.
Edil Baisalov noted that the Kyrgyz Republic is entering a confident path of development, and in the coming years, the growing economy will require the contribution of German industry, science and technology. He thanked the parliamentarians for supporting infrastructure projects in the healthcare sector as part of financial and technical support.
The head of the parliamentary delegation, member of the Bundestag, Eugen Schmidt, expressed his readiness to provide support for the further development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
"The Kyrgyz Republic seeks to comprehensively strengthen cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany, especially in the field of green economy, science and culture, and investment in human capital," Edil Baisalov said.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including support for the activities of the German diaspora, creating conditions for learning the German language and expanding access to the German labor market for Kyrgyz youth.
