Bishkek, Feb.13, 2020. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic is implementing a tool for parent’s foundations in schools, Advisor to Education Minister of the republic Rasul Abazbek told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He added last year order was issued, the essence of which was that the administration and teachers of schools should not interfere with the system od raise money of parents’ funds.
"But society's understanding of this order was distorted and misunderstood. Minister is not authorized to cancel the collection of funds, only parents can decide this. Especially to make the reporting of existing funds transparent, we have developed a special module at mektep.edu.kg.
This module will show how much money has been raised by the foundations and also how much money from the budget goes to the school budget. Parents will be able to see where the money was spent. This innovation is offered to parents' committees and school administrations on a voluntary basis," Rasul Abazbek said.
