Bishkek, June 26, 2020. /Kabar/. Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in employees of President's Office - contact persons, the press service of Kyrgyz President said.
Due to detection of COVID-19 among members of the Kyrgyz delegation, all employees of the President's Office passed tests for the presence of the virus.
The results showed that 8 employees - contact persons were tested positive for COVID-19.
Given the nature of this respiratory disease and doubtful cases while passing first analysis, all employees will pass repeated tests, respectively, the results may change.
In accordance with the algorithm of sanitary-epidemiological measures, given the absence of symptoms of the disease, all those infected will stay at home and receive appropriate treatment.
Most staff continue to work remotely.
On June 24, at the invitation of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov arrived in Moscow to attend events marking 75th anniversary of Victory in WWII.
Upon arrival in Moscow two people accompanying Jeenbekov have been tested positive for COVID-19: Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President's Office Daniyar Sydykov and one security officer.
In accordance with the further algorithm, the President has decided to refrain from participating in events.
Upon arrival in Bishkek, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov's coronavirus analysis has showed a negative result.
He continues to be self-isolated and is working remotely.
