Elections 2020. 40 cases were initiated in Kyrgyzstan over bribery of voters

Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2020 / Kabar /. 40 cases were initiated in Kyrgyzstan under the article of bribery of voters during the election campaign, Deputy Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Dyushembiev told.

Speaking at the press conference at Kabar News Agency he said that 82 criminal cases were initiated for violations during the electoral process and 46 misconduct were registered.

He clarified that two of them were initiated under article obstacle to electoral law, 40 cases under article bribery of voters, violation of the financing of the election process - 1, there are also facts of forgery and 14 different facts, including the article "Hooliganism" on the incident in the Aravan region.

The parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan will take place on Oct. 4. The election campaign has started on Sept. 4.
