Elections should be held quietly, calmly and fairly: Kyrgyz PM Boronov

Bishkek, Oct. 4, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov noted that all polling stations across the country are fully ready to hold parliamentary elections.

According to him, all 2 thousand 475 polling stations are ready today.

"Taking into account the epidemiological situation, relevant activities were undertaken. We have taken from the headquarters full operative information on polling stations readiness,” he said.

Boronov noted that he does not make predictions, which party will enter and which will not.

"Today we choose our deputies for the next five years. Let the worthy parties pass. The elections should be held quietly, calmly and fairly. It is the constitutional right of every citizen to come to the elections," the PM said.

The prime minister voted at the polling station, located in gymnasium school # 62 in Bishkek.

The parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan has started on Sunday morning. 16 parties participate in the election race.
