Electronic Academic Competition taking place among high school students in Osh

Osh, Jan. 8, 2018 / Kabar/. An Electronic Academic Competition (EAC) among high school students is taking place at Osh Technological University, Tynchtykbek Dosmuratov, specialist of Osh City Education Department told.

Dosmuratov said that the EAC is being held in 11 subjects on 18 directions among high school students of 9-10-11grades. Instant results of the EAC can be seen not only by students at the computer, but also by their parents on the tabloids who are waiting for them in the waiting room. From now on students and their parents will not have to wait for the results of the EAC for several days.

"One of the innovations of the EAC is that the students undergo video registration which allows reducing disputable issues after the event. Moreover questions, tasks are designed in such a way that the students in future could use their decision in everyday life,” he added.

About 1 thousand 700 students will take part in the EAC. Holding of the EAC was allowed as a pilot project by the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan only in the territory Osh city. Winners and prize-winners of the city EAC will take part in the republican EAC.
