Bishkek, June 16, 2021 . / Kabar / . In the framework of fight against COVID-19 pandemic, an electronic portal for volunteers has been launched, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Health Ministry said.
Kyrgyzstan is currently experiencing the third rise in the incidence of COVID-19, the cities of Bishkek and Osh are in the “red zone”.
There is also an increase in coronavirus cases in almost all regions of the country.
In order to ensure preparedness and coordinated work with the civil sector, as well as training of involved volunteers in various aspects of the response to COVID-19, the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic with the technical support of the SE "Social Service" has launched an electronic portal for registration of organizations and people who wish to become volunteers in the response to COVID-19, which is available at www.dobro.med.kg.
The following functions are implemented on the electronic portal:
1. Registration of volunteers and volunteer movements for inclusion in the electronic registry;
2. The electronic registry of volunteers will allow an accelerated training course with the support and validation of the National Red Crescent Society, depending on further needs;
3. Identification of volunteers by means of a QR code. Each volunteer will be able to get a volunteer passport with a personal QR code, which will accelerate the processes and coordination of actions in all regions of the country.
