Bishkek, Feb.5, 2018 / Kabar /. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the People's Republic of China (PRC) hosted a presentation of the book on study of the Kyrgyz language JierjisiyuJiaocheng for Chinese citizens. The author of the book is the Professor of the Central University of Nationalities of the PRC, Hu Zhenhua, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The event was attended by the Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), former ambassadors of the PRC in Kyrgyzstan Wang Kaiwen and Yao Peisheng, as well as other representatives of scientific circles and universities of China.
Azamat Usenov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the PRC stressed that the Professor Hu Zhenhua most of his life devoted to research to the language and culture of the Kyrgyz people in China and Kyrgyzstan. The Ambassador highly appreciated Professor Hu Zhenhua's contribution to the development of the Kyrgyz-Chinese friendship, the Kyrgyz language, culture and history.
The participants of the presentation positively emphasized the merits of Hu Zhenhua in the development of the Kyrgyz language in China, as well as its role in strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and China.
Also within the framework of this event, the participants of the presentation were provided with information on ongoing and planned events for 2018. These are activities related to honor the 90th anniversary of the Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov and the upcoming Third World Nomadic Games . They also were shown videos about the Third World Nomadic Games and tourism in Kyrgyzstan.
For reference: Professor Hu Zhenhua was born in 1931 and is a professor at the Central University of Nationalities (Beijing). He is one of the first researchers of the Kyrgyz language in China (since 1953). In 1957 he opened a major of the Kyrgyz language at the Central University of Nationalities of China. At present, the Department of Russian Language and Languages of Central Asian countries is functioning at this university, where 21 Chinese students study the Kyrgyz language. Earlier, Hu Zhenhua was awarded the Kyrgyz Order of the third degree Manas.
The book on the study of the Kyrgyz language JierjisiyuJiaocheng was published in 1000 copies. In general, the book is used by students of the Department of Russian Language and Languages of Central Asian countries at the Central University of Nationalities of the PRC to study the Kyrgyz language.
