Bishkek, Feb. 10, 2020. / Kabar /. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Pakistan, together with the Pakistan Snow Leopard Foundation, organized environmental art as part of environmental diplomacy.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that representatives of the diplomatic corps, international and non-governmental organizations in Islamabad, government agencies, and artists of Pakistan attended the opening of the exhibition.
Kyrgyz Ambassador Erik Beishembiev in his speech at the opening of the exhibition noted the special significance of the first World Snow Leopard Forum, held in Kyrgyzstan in 2013, following which the Global Program for the Protection of the Snow Leopard and Ecosystems was launched, and the World Snow Leopard Day was established annually on October 23. He also informed about the tourism opportunities of Kyrgyzstan.
