Emergency situation declared in Kyrgyzstan’s Suzak region, over 600 houses flooded

Bishkek, May 5, 2022 / Kabar /. Torrential rains on May 4, flooded 606 houses and 10 social facilities in Barpy and Atabekov villages of Suzak region of Kyrgyzstan, the country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

Currently, the task force headed by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic is carrying out operational activities.

In connection with the current situation in Suzak region, an emergency situation has been declared in the region.

An operational headquarters has been created, and operational measures are currently being taken to eliminate the situation.
