Employees of Kyrgyz embassy meets with Kyrgyz students studying at universities in Tajikistan

Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2020 / Kabar /. Employees of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan met with Kyrgyz students studying at universities in Tajikistan.

A meeting in Dushanbe was held with the participation of the head of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Tajikistan K. Kurmanbaev, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the meeting, information and explanatory work was carried out on the conditions for the implementation of electoral rights by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic temporarily / permanently staying in the territory of Tajikistan.

The embassy noted that 2021 is an important year for the future of the Kyrgyz Republic and its people. In January 2021, early presidential elections will be held in Kyrgyzstan. Addressing students, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are studying in Tajikistan, the embassy called for an active participation in this important political event.

In addition, on the occasion of the birthday of the great Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, Kyrgyz students studying at the universities of Tajikistan read excerpts from his works.
