Bishkek, Nov. 2, 2022. /Kabar/. Employees of the Russian office of TikTok were offered relocation to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Armenia, Russian media reported.
But for this, specialists who left Russia need to return to the country to sign an additional agreement to the employment contract and take all the costs of moving on themselves.
TikTok is owned by the Chinese conglomerate ByteDance. Its head of global business solutions in Eastern Europe, Anastasia Panina, previously announced that the company is opening a new office in Kazakhstan, which she will head.
According to data, until March, 200-300 employees worked in the Russian office of TikTok, some of them were not physically located in Russia. Now every third employee is in another country.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Chyngyz Esengul uulu also announced about the opening of a TikTok office in Astana. He told then that Kyrgyzstan plans to offer the company to open another office in the Kyrgyz Republic.
