Employers from 15 countries provide vacancies at Int’l Job Fair in Osh

Osh, Dec.18, 2019 /Kabar/. For the first time in the history of Kyrgyzstan, the State Migration Service under the Government holds an International Job Fair in Osh.

The event is held in honor of International Migrants Day, which is celebrated on Dec.18.

Employers from 15 countries provide thousands of vacancies and interview potential employees. Attendees learn about work directly from foreign employers, and there are more than 3 thousand jobs at the Fair.

In direct contact with employers, applicants will learn about the company and the job proposed. They also have opportunity to have an interview with foreign employers on site.

In addition, the Migrant: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow International Forum, to be attended by representatives of state bodies, private employment agencies, international organizations, NGOs and foreign partners, will be held the same day.

On Dec.18, 1990, the General Assembly adopted a resolution on the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.

Each year on Dec 18, the United Nations, through the UN-related agency International Organization for Migration (UN Migration), uses International Migrants Day to highlight the contributions made by the roughly 272 million migrants, including more than 41 million internally displaced persons, (IDPs) and the challenges they face.
