End of World Toguz Korgool Championship in Kyrgyzstan – list of winners

Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2018. /Kabar/. The world toguz korgool champions are determined. The tournament was held within the Third World Nomad Games, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The World Toguz Korgool Championship was taking place on September 2-8 in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul oblast, in which 85 sportsmen (58 men, 27 women) took part. The competitions were held for individual and team scoring in accordance with the Swiss system.

The first place in team competitions was taken by the Kazakh team: Khakimzhan Eleusinov, and Nurbek Kabiev. They won 60 thousand soms. The second place was taken by the host of the tournament – the Kyrgyz national team: Anarbek Dzhamakeev, Syrttan Syrgak uulu, they obtained 40 thousand soms. The third leader is the team from Mongolia - Ardabulan Shyndaulet and Rysbek Zhasulan, they won 30 thousand soms.

The same pattern can be observed among women: The gold medal winners are Kazakhstanis Asel Dalieva and Anastasia Foos. The silver was won by Kyrgyzstan - Janyl Egemberdieva and Aizada Baktybekova. The bronze medals were awarded to Mongolia: Zhansay Tolibay and Nurgul Badelkhan.
