Energy companies of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan agreed to implement joint projects

Bishkek, Nov. 16, 2021 / Kabar /. The National Energy Holding hosted a meeting of representatives of energy companies of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the company reported.

During the meeting, the main aspects of interaction on the implementation of the project in the field of introducing the automation of the commercial metering system for electrical energy in the energy system of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as launching production for the assembly of metering devices and related equipment in the territory of Kyrgyzstan were discussed.

The sides agreed to implement a pilot project to install automation of the commercial metering system devices and introduce a billing system to improve the efficiency of business processes for electricity metering and settlements with energy consumers.

This meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic Ibraev with the participation of Chairman of the Board of the National Energy Holding Baigaziev and General Director of KERTS OJSC Zhanybekov.
