Special and more enhanced additional measures will be introduced at the transit checkpoints of the state border of Turkmenistan, to control the prevention of any situations that can cause mass harm to the health of the population, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.
The relevant decree was signed by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The decree provides decontamination, disinfection works on road, and railway transport, as well as fumigation treatment against insects in accordance with the results of the initial inspection of imported goods subject to mandatory quarantine.
As reported, Turkmenistan is working to establish safe mutual deliveries and transit traffic, in order to prevent the entry of COVID-19 into the country.
The movement of goods and vehicles through border checkpoints in Turkmenistan has undergone regulation. In this regard, all customs operations are carried out under the control of the relevant departments of Turkmenistan and in compliance with the requirements of sanitary standards.
