Bishkek, Jan.13, 2025. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan provided information on the epidemiological situation on ARVI and influenza.
According to the operational data of the Department of Disease Prevention and State Epidemiological Surveillance in the 2nd week of 2025 (06.01.-12.01.), 7415 cases of acute respiratory viral infection and 38 cases of influenza were registered in the country, 1.7 times higher compared to the previous week, -29.1% below the epidemic threshold (148.1). Of those who fell ill, 7.9% (586 patients) were hospitalized.
Sentinel surveillance of severe acute respiratory infections (SARS) and influenza-like illnesses (ILI) in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, Tokmok continues.
Circulation of acute respiratory viral infections is also observed, with the prevalence of MS virus prevailing - 30.3% (280), rhinovirus - 26.2% (242), adenovirus - 12.8% (118), parainfluenza I-IV - 11.4% (105), other - 19.3% (179).
Monitoring and assessment of the epidemiologic situation for the incidence of influenza, acute respiratory viral infections and COVID-19 in the republic continues and is under control.
