Epidemiological situation in Bishkek improving - 7 COVID-19 hospitals closed down temporarily

Bishkek, Aug. 5, 2020 / Kabar /. In Bishkek, in order to optimize costs and save human resources for the autumn-winter period, some temporary hospitals with the least number of visits are temporarily closed down.

The Bishkek Mayor's Office said that the following temporary facilities, which were adapted for hospitals have been closed down:

- at the Seytek school;

- at school # 95;

- at school n# 83;

- at school # 81;

- at school # 94;

- at the Aral café.

The night clinic, which was re-equipped in Saltanat restaurant is also closed down.

All medical equipment, beds and other inventory have been carefully preserved, disinfected and quartz-free, the report said.

The rest of the hospitals are still operating normally, the city authorities will monitor the dynamics of calls.

“Yesterday, day hospitals received the smallest number of people ever - 964, and on the night of August 4-5, only 173 people addressed to night hospitals,” the city authorities stressed.

During the month of operation of day hospitals, 84,689 people received medical support, 8, 688 citizens received aid in night hospitals.
