Bishkek, Jan. 8, 2025. / Kabar /. A meeting on the epidemiological situation in the country was held at the Presidential Administration under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov, the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
According to data of the Ministry of Health, the epidemiological situation in the country remains stable. 4,245 cases of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) and 16 cases of influenza have been recorded in the country.
The deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted the inadmissibility of an increase in the spread of respiratory infections on the eve of the resumption of the school season after the holidays, when schools and kindergartens will begin to operate in full.
Following the meeting, the Ministry of Health and other relevant bodies were instructed to strengthen measures to prevent the spread of respiratory viral infections, as well as to constantly monitor the epidemiological situation in the country.
