Bishkek, Sept. 7, 2020. /Kabar/. The epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan remains acute, Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev told a daily news briefing Monday.

"The requirements for sanitary and hygienic standards remain relevant to this day. Many countries were affected by the pandemic. They note the requirements to observe a mask regime and social distance significantly affect the reduction of coronavirus infection. The Ministry of Health calls on citizens to comply with these requirements. In addition, we are continuing our anti-epidemic work and preventive measures," he said.

Kyrgyzstan has registered 44, 458 cases of novel coronavirus so far, including 39, 960 recoveries and 1, 611 deaths.
