Estonia to assist in implementation of Taza Koom project in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, April 11 / Kabar /. On April 10, 2017, during the first official visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev to the Republic of Estonia, he met with Speaker of the Riigikogu (Parliament) of Estonia Eiki Nestor and Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group "Kyrgyzstan-Estonia" Denis Borodich.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues related to strengthening of bilateral relations in the sphere of interparliamentary cooperation and positively assessed the dynamic activation of cooperation between the members of the friendship group "Kyrgyzstan-Estonia".

In the framework of multilateral cooperation, the Kyrgyz side enlisted the support of the Estonian side on the project initiatives of the Kyrgyz Republic, which are being worked through the EU, taking into account Estonia's chairmanship in it in the second half of 2017.

The Estonian parliamentarians announced their intention to render all possible assistance in the implementation of the national Taza Koom project.

Taza Koom is part of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of Kyrgyzstan till 2040. Taza Koom is a national high-tech project to build a state that better serves citizens, better provides public services and creates better business conditions. The implementation of this project will lead to greater transparency in the public administration system and will become a powerful tool for countering and preventing corruption. The project will cover the spheres of social and legal life of citizens, improve the quality and safety of their lives.
