During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of digitalization, each party in the presentation format demonstrated the results of the work carried out as part of the digitalization of state and municipal services, the creation of digital systems and unified databases.
Within the framework of the event, an exchange of views took place on the most interesting issues on the introduction of modern technologies in the digital sphere. In particular, within the framework of the presentation, Martin Mannil, IT manager of the Tallinn Mayor’s Office, as well as experts Toomas Sepp and Tõnis Mäe, noted the need for basic standards for the introduction of digital technologies: ease of use, speed of work, public confidence, and prevention of corruption risks.
It is noted that these experts from Estonia, within the framework of the bilateral cooperation project "Support for the Digital Transformation Program in Kyrgyzstan", will provide consulting services in Kyrgyzstan on four components: 1) training civil servants and the public in digital skills, including data analytics; 2) assistance in the development of better electronic services; 3) protection of personal data; 4) cybersecurity.
