Ethno-carnival kicks off in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 7, 2022. / Kabar /. Ethno-carnival has started in Kyrgyzstan.

The organizers said that the XII International Ethno-Carnival "Issyk-Kul gathers friends-2022" will bring together more than 500 children from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan.

The goal is to study, revive and preserve the ethno-cultural characteristics of Kyrgyzstan and the CIS countries, the establishment of friendly relations, the development of artistic, musical, vocal, choreographic skills of children.

Ethno-carnival will start with a procession in Bishkek. After the official opening, the participants will head to Issyk-Kul.

The ethno-carnival program includes musical performances, master classes in choreography, vocals, folk instruments with masters from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan.

As part of the event, the VII International Children's Art Competition "Issyk-Kul Gathers Friends - 2022" will be held.

Musical groups will compete in nominations such as choreography, instrumental ensembles, individual performance on national instruments, vocal singing.

The event is being held for the 12th year on the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. The International Ethno-Carnival is an opportunity for creativity, communication and strengthening of friendship between children and teenagers from 9 to 17 years old.
