Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2024. /Kabar/. An ethnocultural yurt town has opened in the city of Sysert in Sverdlovsk Oblast of Russia, which is part of the Yekaterinburg agglomeration, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The project was implemented by the Belaya Loshad country club and the Kyrgyz travel company “Info Service Company” as part of the development of Kyrgyz-Russian interregional and intermunicipal cooperation in the field of tourism.
The yurt town has 10 residential yurts equipped with all the amenities for a comfortable stay for tourists all year round: sleeping places, bathrooms, TV, heating and air conditioning.
The opening ceremony was attended by Consul General of Kyrgyzstan Maksat Tentimishov, Head of Yekaterinburg Aleksey Orlov and other local officials.
Maksat Tentimishov emphasized that there is no analogue of the yurt town in Russia. "This tourist project is being implemented for the first time not only in the Urals Federal District, but also in Russia as a whole. We are interested in mutual promotion of the tourist opportunities of Kyrgyzstan and the regions of the Russian Federation. Having visited the yurt town, tourists will learn about the culture, traditions and history of the Kyrgyz people. And I hope they will want to come to Kyrgyzstan and see with their own eyes all the grandeur of nature and the sights of the republic,” the Consul General noted.
After the official part, the guests and participants were invited to a photo exhibition and a tour of the yurt town, as well as to a tasting of national dishes and drinks. At this time, folk songs and melodies, as well as excerpts from the Manas epic, were performed on stage by Kyrgyz and Russian creative groups.
