EU ambassadors in Kazakhstan briefed about First CA-EU Economic Forum to be held in Bishkek

Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Kazakhstan held a briefing on the First Central Asia - Eurasian Union Economic Forum (Nov. 5 in Bishkek) for heads of diplomatic missions of EU countries accredited in Nur-Sultan.

The press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Ministry reported that the event was chaired by Kyrgyz Ambassador to Kazakhstan Dastan Dyushekeyev.

Ambassadors of 16 European countries, as well as Kyrgyz Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium Muktar Dzhumaliyev took part in the briefing.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dyushekeyev presented brief information about the Forum, as well as some organizational and protocol aspects of participation in the event and invited the sides to take an active part in its work.

In his speech, the ambassador spoke in detail about the concept, goals and objectives of the CA-EU Economic Forum. Ambassadors of European countries were informed about the planned parallel events, taking into account the importance of the forum, a request was made to assist in the participation at the upcoming Forum of representatives of EU businesses operating in Kazakhstan.

At the end of the meeting, the Kyrgyz ambassadors answered questions from the EU representatives.
