Brussels, Nov. 21, 2018. /Kabar/. The European Union sees Central Asia as a good and stable partner, member of the European Parliament Iveta Grigule told at a meeting with journalists from Central Asia in Brussels.
In particular, she noted such areas as partnerships in politics, security, and the fight against terrorism and drug trafficking.
The MEP mentioned that the EU pays particular attention to the rule of law and human rights. The European Union as a whole cooperates on various issues, including provision of social assistance and improvement of the quality of education. The EU has increased cooperation in this area. This is a good foundation.
Grigule added that the Central Asian region has its own culture, and the European Union has a different culture.
