Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2018. /Kabar/. The EU will finance projects in Kyrgyzstan in the amount of 174 million euros from 2015 to 2020, Head of the Cooperation Section of the EU Delegation in the Kyrgyz Republic Nicola Scaramuzzo told at the briefing.
He said that these are mainly areas of law enforcement, education and development.
Scaramuzzo added that they have additional regional funding, which includes all five Central Asian countries. As for the future, it is difficult to say, there are discussions in Brussels.
In turn, the head of the Department of Politics, Press and Information of the EU Delegation in the Kyrgyz Republic Raimonds Vingriss added that, at the regional level, the project is worth about $ 300 million and covers such areas as border issues, combating terrorism, regional education, etc.
