Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2021. /Kabar/. Presidents of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, France Emmanuel Macron and Slovakia Zuzana Chaputova of Slovakia congratulated Sadyr Zhaparov on assuming the office of President of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz president, the German leader’s congratulatory message says:
"You are stepping into your position at a challenging time. In addition to the enormous burden of the coronavirus pandemic in Kyrgyzstan, democracy is facing new challenges.
The friendly ties between our countries have existed for almost 30 years. As a long-term partner of Kyrgyzstan, Germany is confident that our close and trusting partnership will continue in the future. We will continue to support your country in promoting democracy, the rule of law and sustainable development involving all sectors of society.
I wish you great success in tackling the important tasks ahead in your office”.
In his message to Kyrgyzstan’s President Zhaparov, Emmanuel Macron noted France is committed to developing ties between the European Union and the Kyrgyz Republic.
“The imminent entry into force of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and the Kyrgyz Republic will serve as concrete proof of the support of the European Union and its 27 member states for your country in its progress towards the rule of law, democracy and sustainable economic and social development, taking into account the need to combat climate change.
The French leader reaffirmed his desire to continue and deepen bilateral cooperation both in politics and in the fields of culture and economy.
Congratulatory message of President of Slovakia Zuzana Chaputova’s message reads as follows:
"On behalf of the citizens of the Slovak Republic, as well as on my own behalf, I warmly congratulate you on your appointment as President of the Kyrgyz Republic. I wish you creative strength and success in fulfilling your responsible and important mission.
I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate the traditionally good Slovak-Kyrgyz relations. I am convinced that they will continue to develop and cooperation.
I wish you success, happiness and good health in your responsible work. I believe international cooperation and unity will help us overcome this difficult period”.
