Bishkek, April 5 / Kabar /. The round table will be dedicated to discussion of the implementation of a new online information system for the management of children in all child care institutions under the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and the Ministry of Health, as well as on private centers and orphanages accredited for providing social services to children in difficult life situation in the Kyrgyz Republic. The new information system enables tracking children in the state care in real-time, which allows efficient monitoring of the situation in the child care institutions, as well as planning the activities targeted at enhancing the quality of social services and return of children under parental care. At the same time, the heads of child care institutions will be able to use the information system in planning individual work with each child, search of relatives and siblings of children and produce statistical reports.
The event will be attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Office of the Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Head of the Cooperation Section of the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr Johannes Stenbaek Madsen.
The system has been developed by the experts of the EU project "Technical Assistance to the Sector Reform Contract: Social Protection" jointly with the specialists of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The overall budget of the EU project is EUR 1,820,800 and it is implemented by a consortium led by the Oxford Policy Management (UK).
