Bishkek, March 12 / Kabar /. Kanat Amankulov, the director of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic, met this week with the cyclist Evgeniy Vakker and the head coach of Kyrgyzstan's national cycling team Erken Akramov.
The press service of the State Agency reports that, Amankulov congratulated Vakker and his trainer Akramov on state awards, which were presented by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev.
"Evgeniy Vakker is the only active athlete who was awarded the state Manas award III degree after the Olympic champion Kanybek Osmonaliev. We will strongly support further performance of the cyclist on big starts," he said and wished the coach and athlete success at the upcoming international competitions.
Recall, from February 24 to March 3 in the capital of Bahrain, Manama, the 37th Asian Cycling Championship took place on the highway, where Vakker took the fourth place with the result of 50 minutes 48 seconds, breaking 38.4 kilometers.
