Exhibition dedicated to 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia opened in Moscow

Bishkek, Feb. 23, 2022. / Kabar /. An exhibition of photos and art paintings dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia was opened on February 21, 2022, in the building of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia said that the event was held with the participation of Kyrgyz and Russian parliamentarians.

The exhibition viewers were presented with an exposition of photographic materials indicating a high level of political interaction between the two states, in particular, the first foreign visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to Russia in February 2021, the working visit of Acting President, Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Talant Mamytov to Russia in December 2020, the working visits of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev to Russia in December 2021 and November 2020, respectively, as well as on bilateral meetings held between officials in various formats.

As part of the country theme "Kyrgyzstan", the exhibition features photos about the rich nature, culture, traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people. During a lively conversation during a visit to the exhibition, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic told their Russian colleagues about the features of the Kyrgyz national sports and the national games “oodarysh”, “kok-boru” and “kyz-kuumai”.

The exhibition also presents works by Kyrgyz artists and Russian artists of the Surikov School, on whose canvases landscapes of the nature of Kyrgyzstan are painted. One of the authors of the exposition, Krotova, told the members of the delegations about the works of Moscow artists and impressions of the trip to Kyrgyzstan. An exchange of views took place between the deputies of the Parliament and Krotova on the beauties and natural splendor of Kyrgyzstan.

The exhibition was organized by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation with the active support and assistance of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Russian Federation as part of the official visit of Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Talant Mamytov to the Russian Federation and will last until February 25, 2022.
