Bishkek, Nov. 30, 2018. /Kabar/. An exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov opened in St. Petersburg. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Speaker Asel Koduranova.
The opening of the art exhibition in the Tauride Palace, where the works of the famous writer are presented, was also attended by members of parliamentary delegations of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly member states.
“Chyngyz Aitmatov, a Kyrgyz by nationality, managed to become Aitmatov for the Universe. His works, are in the hearts of each person regardless of nationality, because it calls for humanism and tolerance. Undoubtedly, the great writer has left us a legacy that unites the world and calls us all to friendship,” Koduranova told.
In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Ilyas Umakhanov noted that every word of the writer did not leave him indifferent.
