Bishkek, Jan.30, 2020. /Kabar/. The Vladimir Land exhibition, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Cholponbai Bazarbayev and the Cross Year of Kyrgyzstan in Russia and Russia in Kyrgyzstan has been opened in Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek.
The authors of the exhibition are Dzhumabek Bazarbayev and Aijan Mambetova.
In August 2019, Bazarbayev and Mambetova hit the road for the Golden Ring of Russia, place of pilgrimage of international tourism.
By early 2020, the authors have prepared a huge amount of material for the exhibition on cities of Suzdal, Rostov Velikiy, Vladimir and Cheboksary.
The exhibition will also feature the works that are written in co-authorship.
In just six months, the artists who received good enthusiasm and mood were able to complete the work and present the results at the exhibition in Kyrgyzstan, dedicating it to significant dates.
The exhibition is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Cholponbek Bazarbayev, Kyrgyz ballet dancer, People's Artist of the USSR, elder brother of the exhibition’s author Dzhumabek Bazarbayev.
2020 was declared the Cross Year of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, which stimulated the organization of the exhibition at the Gapar Aitiyev Museum of Fine Arts in Bishkek.
In the near future, the artists plan to hold a travelling exhibition in some cities of the Golden Ring with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The Golden Ring of Russia is a vast area in which old Russian cities are located in a ring-like arrangement and a well-known theme-route.
The idea of the route and the term were created in 1967 by Soviet historian and essayist Yuri Bychkov, who published in the newspaper Sovetskaya Kultura in November–December 1967 a series of essays on the cities under the heading "Golden Ring”.
