Exhibition hall of Kyrgyzstan to be opened in Xi'an

Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2023. /Kabar/. A presentation of investment projects of Kyrgyzstan was held at the major international tourism exhibition "The Great Silk Road" in the Chinese city of Xi'an. Abylkasym Sherniyazov, President of the Tourism Development Support Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic, presented them to Chinese businessmen.

According to the press service of the fund, investors are interested in the construction of a large-scale year-round recreation area Baytik Mountain Resort, thirty kilometers south of Bishkek, which has many investment opportunities.

The governor of Shaanxi province Zhao Gan, representatives of other Chinese provinces and the Mayor's Office of Xi'an spoke about the interest in the travel of Chinese tourists to the Kyrgyz Republic.

They visited the pavilion of our country at the exhibition. Today, our official delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Samat Shatmanov discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector with Xu Mingfei, Deputy Governor of Shaanxi Province. The parties noted the importance of developing direct flights between Bishkek and Xi'an, which will create more opportunities for the exchange of tourists, the report said.

Also at the exhibition, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Tourism Development Support Fund and Xi'an Aerospace Investment Future Culture and Tourism Group. In particular, under the memorandum the organization of an exhibition hall of tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic in Xi'an, as well as the creation of a center for tourism and business cooperation is planned.
