Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2018. /Kabar/. An exhibition of Belarusian education services opened on Wednesday in the hall of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) named after Boris Yeltsin as part of the 5th CIS Congress of Teachers and Education Workers, the press service of the KRSU reported.
The exhibition was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kyrgyz Republic Strachko, Deputy Director of the Center for International Relations of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus Lyskovets, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Minsk State Linguistics University Pashkevich and other specialists. They provided students and visitors of the exhibition some insight into services that are provided in the field of education in Belarus.
As is known, Belarus has developed a Concept for the development of exports of educational services for 2018-2020. Among the most important indicators of achieving results in this area are an increase in the share of foreign citizens in the total number of students, an increase in the level of development of academic mobility, an increase in the number of realization of cooperation agreements with foreign partners.
The main export markets for education services in Belarus are the CIS countries, as well as the states of South and Southeast Asia.
In addition, more than 3.7 thousand Belarusian teachers go abroad as part of academic mobility.
The high-ranking guests were accompanied by Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Academician Nifadiev, Vice Rector for Research, Prof. Lelevkin, head of the Department of Innovations in Education and Science of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Prof. Maliukova.
