At a meeting of the Republican headquarters on COVID-19, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov focused the attention of the Ministry of Health on strengthening measures taken in Jalal-Abad and Batken Oblasts.

“We are worried about the epidemiological situation in these two oblasts. The number of new cases of the disease and the number of seriously ill patients in these areas are not decreasing. It is necessary to send the experienced medical professionals to improve the situation. In addition, I focus the attention of the specialized state bodies on providing the regions of the republic with all the necessary medications. In the autumn, in particular, there should be an appropriate supply of medicines in the country. You are also facing the issue of conducting a high-quality and prompt campaign to vaccinate the population,” he said.
