Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2023. /Kabar/. The grand opening of the national exhibition pavilion of the Kyrgyz Republic took place in the city of Doha, Qatar, the National Investment Agency (NAI) under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The event was attended by Deputy Director of NAI Zhibek Abdullayeva, Commissioner General of Expo 2023 Bader Omar Ismail Al Dafa and Secretary General Mohammed Ali Al Khouri and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Tuibaeva.
As part of the event “Green Desert, Better Environment,” the national culture and way of life of the Kyrgyz people were demonstrated, as well as a tasting of national cuisine and environmentally friendly products.
More than 20 companies producing honey products, dried fruits, juices, chocolate, as well as handicraft products presented their products at the exhibition.
As reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Forest Service allocated 40 seedlings weighing 1.2 tons to decorate the outer part of the exhibition pavilion.
Expo 2023 will be the first World Horticultural Exhibition in Qatar, the Middle East and North Africa.
The main motto of the event will be: “Green desert, better environment.” Al Bidda Park has been selected to host EXPO 2023 in Doha for six months from 2 October 2023 to 28 March 2024.
