Osh, Feb.19, 2020. /Kabar/. The “Caravan of export. Regional Development” information campaign with participation of over 30 representatives of business community and state bodies of Batken Oblast started in Batken town.
During the workshop, the participants got acquainted with activities of the Investment Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Representatives of the Guarantee Fund OJSC, Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety of the Kyrgyz Republic, Department of Plant Quarantine of the Agriculture Ministry also provided basic and important information.
In addition, an online survey to identify the needs and problems of producers and exporters was conducted among the participants.
In the second part of the workshop, participants were given the opportunity to obtain personal advice from experts on procedures required for exporting products of plant and animal origin; what is the registry of Eurasian Economic Union, European Union, third countries, and One Village-One Product project, and other issues.
The Caravan of Export, supported by the UNDP Trade Facilitation Project and funded by the Government of Finland, started on Feb.18 and will run till Mar.3.
The goal of the Caravan is to inform the country's business community about innovations and trends regarding the production and export of products.
