Export of Kyrgyz products to Austria discussed in Vienna

Bishkek, Aug. 16, 2017. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Ambassador Bakyt Zhusupov met in Vienna with Michael Anger , regional manager for CIS countries of the Austrian Economic Chamber.

During the meeting the sides discussed a whole range of issues concerning the increasing of turnover, attraction of investments to Kyrgyzstan, also promoting exports of products from Kyrgyzstan, discussed in detail the legislative requirements of Austria, the possibility of selling dried fruits, textiles and other food products from Kyrgyzstan to Austria.

Concerning investment issues, the sides reached an understanding on the need to organize a visit of Austrian companies engaged in the IT sphere to Kyrgyzstan in autumn of this year to study the possibilities of their participation in the components of the national Taza Koom project.

Besides at the support of Austrian Economic Chamber the sides agreed to held a business Forum in the city of Vienna with the participation of Kyrgyz producers and business structures.

The sides also discussed a special workshop in Bishkek on the construction of small and medium-sized hydraulic structures by the Austrian company ILF Consulting Engineers Austria GmgH. As a result of the meeting, the sides agreed to make maximum efforts in using existing potentials in the trade and economic sphere and continue close cooperation.
