Bishkek, Feb.6, 2020./Kabar/. In Azerbaijan's capital city of Baku, Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov took part in an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (CCTS/Turkish Council).
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs, foreign ministers discussed topical issues on the agenda of the Turkic Council.
The extraordinary meeting participants also exchanged views on further joint efforts, aimed at strengthening the position of the CCTS in the international arena, the prospects for development of the Organization and other Turkic institutions.
The sides paid special attention to the issues, related to the preparation for the 8th Summit of the Turkic Council, which is scheduled for 2020 in Turkey.
Following the meeting of the Council of FMs, heads of Foreign Ministries signed a number of documents related to the current activities of the CCTS bodies
