The Sary-Chelek State Biosphere Reserve is a lake of extraordinary beauty hidden in the depths of the Western Tien Shan at an altitude of about 1900 m above sea level.
Surrounded on all sides by high ridges, it has indescribable beauty, reflecting the blue sky and the green slopes of the mountains.
