Bishkek, Sept. 3, 2020. /Kabar/. "Farms, in addition to improving the welfare of residents in the regions, provide food security of the country," President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said Thursday while getting acquainted with the activities of the Tashtan farm, located in the Petrovka village, Moskovsky region, his press service reported.

Farmer Farhat Yusupov informed that their main activity is cattle breeding and dairy production.
To date, the total number of cows has reached about 200 heads, which produce up to 1000 liters of milk a day.

Talking to local farmers, Sooronbay Jeenbekov stressed the importance of developing private entrepreneurship in the regions, which will create new jobs and stop labor migration.

The head of state noted with satisfaction the exemplary activity of this farm, adding that such farms and the efforts of local entrepreneurs create prerequisites for sustainable development of the country's regions.
President Jeenbekov emphasized that at present, the state pays special attention to the development of the dairy industry, including the number of processing plants where the local population will be able to sell dairy products.
