Fergana to host meeting of reps of border regions of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

Tashkent, April 14, 2021. / Kabar / . The city of Fergana will host a trilateral meeting of delegations from border regions of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, head of the press service of Fergana Region Dilmurod Zhumaboyev told Kabar Agency.

On April 22, delegations of officials and businessmen from Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan headed by Omurbek Suvanaliyev and delegations from Tajikistan’s Sughd Region led by Chairman of the region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda will arrive to Fergana.

On April 23, a trilateral business forum entitled “Integration of border regions - the key to development" will be held in Fergana with the participation of business circles of Fergana, Batken and Sughd Regions, which will include plenary sessions on industrial and agricultural cooperation, as well as a platform for negotiations in the B2B and G2B formats.

The program of the visit also includes a meeting of heads of the three regions.

Representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will get acquainted with the activities of large industrial and agricultural enterprises of the region, visit an exhibition of products of Fergana region manufacturers.
