Osh, Sept. 5, 2022 / Kabar /. First Vice Mayor of Osh city Mars Isaev met with members of the Rotary Club of the Ferghana Valley public association headed by Governor of District 2420 of the International Rotary Club in Ankara Omre Osturk.
During the meeting, Isaev greeted the guests on behalf of Osh Mayor Almaz Mambetov, congratulated the guests on the opening of the first Rotary Club of the Fergana Valley in Osh and spoke about the latest trends in the development of socio-economic spheres of the city's life.
“It is symbolic that our sunny city of Osh, which is rightfully the historical, cultural, trade, economic, transport and logistics center of the Ferghana Valley, was chosen to open a new Rotary Club in Kyrgyzstan. The importance of the mission of the Ferghana Valley Rotary Club is beyond doubt. The relevance of the implementation of social projects and assistance to society is dictated by the realities of our days.
I am convinced that the active work of the Ferghana Valley Rotary Club in the near future will undoubtedly serve as a strengthening for our social services. I wish the club great success in its activities aimed at the benefit of the residents of the Ferghana Valley,” the first vice mayor emphasized.
Isaev added that the mayor's office of the city is always open and ready to cooperate for the benefit of the interests of the residents of Osh.
Osturk noted that the first Rotary Club in Kyrgyzstan was opened in Bishkek in 1994, and the second one will be opened today in Osh. Rotary clubs provide support and assistance within the framework of charitable assistance in various areas of public life, including education, healthcare, and social support. At the same time, it was emphasized that the more Rotary clubs are opened, the more help and support they provide.
