Festival dedicated to Aitmatov to be held in Yaroslavl

Bishkek, Oct. 23, 2018. /Kabar/. The Birimdik - Unity Yaroslavl Oblast Public Organization of the Peoples of Kyrgyzstan invites everyone to the youth inter-regional festival of Kyrgyz culture.

This time the unifying theme of all the performances of amateur artists will be the work of writer Aitmatova, whose 90th anniversary is celebrated by all CIS countries this year.

The tradition of holding the festival is quite young - it was first held in Yaroslavl in 2016, but has already won the hearts of Yaroslavl residents.

Interest in the Kyrgyz culture in the region is growing from year to year. Thus, in 2013, the Birimdik - Unity organized Days of Kyrgyz culture in Yaroslavl oblast, which confirmed that Yaroslavl people are interested in becoming acquainted with the culture of this distinctive people.

Activities that increase the interest of the residents of Yaroslavl oblast in the cultures of the peoples living in the region are supported by the executive bodies of Yaroslavl that initiated the Harmonization of Interethnic Relations in Yaroslavl Oblast target programme for 2015–2020

The organizers told that such events are always held in a friendly atmosphere, they are filled with joy and inspiration, moreover they are an excellent reason for having a rest with the whole family. This year the festival will open with a demonstration of the Kyrgyz national games and rituals.
