Festival of peoples living in Kyrgyzstan held in Osh

Bishkek, Dec. 2, 2022 / Kabar/. A festival of peoples living in Kyrgyzstan was held on the basis of Kyrgyz-Uzbek University in Osh.

It was attended by representatives of the Osh Mayor's Office, the Peoples Assembly of Kyrgyzstan, teams of universities and colleges of the city of Osh, musical and art educational institutions of the city.

The festival was held in order to familiarize students of higher, special, educational institutions with artistic creativity, to harmonize interethnic communication. The participants performed dances, songs, musical works of the peoples living in Kyrgyzstan.

Representative of the Russian House in Osh Svetlana Buchneva noted that a large number of peoples live in Kyrgyzstan, many of which also live in Russia. All of them live in peace and harmony, while each has their own customs, family and religious traditions.
